I’m Allison Day, a Canadian living in London, UK, and I love food! My passion lies in vibrant food that’s healthy and achievable, food that can be made by combining fresh ingredients for meals that are beautiful, sustaining, and delicious.
Balance is at the heart of my own diet and my cooking. We all have things to do, and we’re all spread thin, maybe taking care of a couple little ones, finding time for the gym and friends, television, the dog–homemade meals can be an afterthought. I share the recipes and stories I’m excited about on my blog, in my cookbooks, and in publications around the world, alongside success tips to help everyone create wonderful food at home–while still checking off that to-do list each week.
I’m here to get you back into the kitchen cooking in a realistic way (i.e. not all day, every day, with real food plus a few helpful ingredient shortcuts); reignite a spark for good-for-you meals; and give those who are already confident cooks, something new to consider, try, and taste.
